  5. Running out of memory is never a good thing. If your RAM is low, then Windows automatically starts using the Virtual Memory. Virtual Memory tends to be slower than RAM. So, go out and get some physical RAM, take your computer up to the maximum that it can handle. This will make your machine seem like new. A word of advice let Windows handle the virtual memory that is unless you're a Wizard or feeling adventurous. To change the virtual memory go to control panel/system/advanced under advanced click performance click advanced again then click the change button under virtual memory.
